About Us/Staff
Metro FC is a successful organization founded in 2004 with the specific intent of providing hard working players the chance for an outstanding soccer environment. Along with a dedicated staff of professional coaches, it has grown from 14 teams to its current size of 49. Now Metro has brought its talent to Northwest Ohio. Metro FC of Toledo will begin operations in the Toledo Area with an experienced, homegrown son to be its Director of Coaching with a staff that is second to none. With a full sponsorship by Adidas and home training grounds right next to the World Class Fallen Timbers Mall, come see what we’re about.
Along with our sister club in Dayton, METRO FC of Toledo has a unified and cohesive club goal of developing future soccer players to have a passion for the game, develop technical skills, improve tactical awareness, and develop a competitive attitude…all while having fun and enjoying the best soccer experience in town!
METRO FC TOLEDO’S MISSION STATEMENT: To create an environment that nurtures and develops the physical and mental needs of a young athlete
* METRO’s main goal is to develop better soccer players. Player development is the primary focus within our competitive program. Our players will learn the skills and tactical concepts that they will need to achieve a higher level of success. Our players will play multiple positions, get ample amounts of playing time, and be placed in training environments where learning is the most important goal. We are not a ’win at all costs’ organization. It is more important to Metro to teach kids the proper way to play the game, than to win playing the wrong way. Our job is to help our players become the best they can be and achieve the highest level of playing that THEY choose.
